Guacamole and Chips

Chunky Guacamole recipe; any day is a good day for homemade guacamole, tortilla chips and an icy cold beverage! Enjoy~ Salud~ 

        4 large avocados      
         Cut in half, remove pit and scoop out avocado
        ½ Red onion, diced
        1 Tablespoon of lime juice or juice from one fresh lime
        1 Teaspoon garlic powder
        2 Medium tomatoes diced
        1 Tablespoon fresh cilantro
        1 Teaspoon cumin, dried  (you can omit if you do not have any in your pantry)
        ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
         Fresh Jalapeño peppers are preferred, but are not always available so I use cayenne pepper 
        Salt and black pepper to taste
        In large mixing bowl diced avocado, red onion, lime juice, garlic powder, tomato, cilantro and cayenne pepper
        Use a spatula to gently mix the ingredients
        Add salt and black pepper to taste, Make it your own kinda spicy! 

Grab your favorite tortilla chips, a cold beverage. Just cook something! Cheers! Kary~

Serving suggestions ~ Excellent topping for fish, chicken, pork, enchiladas, tacos or omelet’s. Use your imagination!
