It's more than just a Valentine

For me Valentines Day is about love, family and friends.


My brother Douglas and I shared a lot of things; we love to cook, entertain, dance, watch movies, travel and laugh at life.

Douglas was a special Valentines Day gift to my parents and tomorrow he would have been 55 years old. Douglas left us too soon on July 19, 2009.

So today like every Valentines Day I wish my bro a Happy Birthday and I know the angels are throwing him one heck of a party, or most likely he is directing a fantastic Moroccan themed birthday feast. And of course catching that perfect wave.

I miss you Douglas and every day you inspire me to be the best I can be.
