Happy New Year from “Have you read the Book? Book Club”
Where does time go…tick tock tick tock. Another year has just disappeared leaving behind great memories, lots of love, fun, adventures and tears.
Our book club which began over fourteen years ago as the Heathwood neighborhood book club has morphed into not just a group of book lovers but more importantly a gathering that we all look forward to each month where we laugh, share a meal and oh yea discuss the book.
The Monday after Christmas we had
our Christmas/New Year’s celebration at Hickory Tavern, a Charlotte favorite
that recently opened in Indian Land, SC. We decided on our books for 2016 which I
have listed below, and we all feasted on fish tacos, ahi tuna, salads, homemade chips with a salsa and ranch dipping sauce, thank you Jackie for sharing your appetizer. We laughed, introduced our newest member Jan, enjoyed our food and mad our plans for book club 2016.
